NORSOK
SFC (Europe) are proudly accredited to the NORSOK manufacturing accreditation, certified to D59/D59L (Strain Hardened) and D60/D60L (Solution Annealed).
Our core stock covers Studding, Studbolts, Headed Product and Nuts. These encompass both semi-finished and finished forms as per ASTM/ASME grades of material.
NORSOK Journey
Our journey with NORSOK was initially spearheaded by our Business Development Director, Ian Crabtree:
SFC (Europe) are continually looking to work with its client base, whilst adapting and developing new strategies to best support our end-user and distribution clients in the market.
It was recognised early that NORSOK played a big part within the North Sea and ever increasing Oil & Gas demands throughout the world. With the offshore industry growing in the North Sea, we needed to capitalise to ensure SFC (Europe) was well placed to support this growth.
We then made the decision that we should go for the NORSOK accreditations, both D60 and D59, as well as others following on from securing these.
We began initial research into raw material mills and the best possible routes for pricing and lead-time, whilst engaging with our sponsors for the accreditation to ensure a swift and successful approval process.
Stock & Manufacture
SFC (Europe) maintains substantial investment in raw material, with a large portion converted into studding, accommodating both metric and imperial, as well as producing a large quantity of D60 nuts for stock.

Equinor MDS Specifications
SFC (Europe) maintain full access to the TR2000 portal, which enables us to download all of the latest MDS specifications for bolting product that form part of a regular supply, incorporating imperial and metric dimensions.
